Chandra and Hubble have found a star in corona australis only ten miles across.
Too small even for a neutron star.

They think it may be made of (!) free quarks.
At this news, my poor quantum-educated brain attempted to collapse in on itself a la neutron stars.

Does the universe just get bored of the types of matter we already have every once in a while? "What havoc can I wreak in the minds of physicists today? They already grow blase about black holes."

I now know what book you're getting next.
Heh heh heh heh.

If you're considering sending me a book on particle physics, it's probably best to ask me if I have it, first. I own a fairly large number of them.
Quantum electrophysics: nature's koan.

It isn't.
It's fiction.
Short stories.
Do you have a lot of fiction short stories?
(I'm not being evilly evasive ... I would just prefer it to be a surprise...)

Not really, no. Send away!
(Who me, ever covetuous of any book I don't have? nah)
